the eyes of the loved one

I looked into his eyes of brown

and thought that I would surely drown

for in his eyes I knew I’d find

the heart that he had stole of mine

and on my heart did take this trail

for when I would look ,so pale

I'd say this guy he is to blame

for of my life his heart I claim
